However, umbrellas could provide portability, way-finding, privacy to engage with environmental information, serendipity, and a sensation of embodiment. In this project, we use the umbrella as a purposeful object to carry a meaningful narrative of our surroundings through the co-creation of memory and the recollection of memory.
